Our primary hiring season is typically around April, as we gear up for the usually-busy summer months in the moving industry. These positions are usually full-time, but temporary/seasonal, ending as our peak business season tails off at the end of summer. There are also opportunities for part time work depending on the needs of various company departments at different times of year.

​3 March 2021 - Military Household Goods Move Coordinator

This position involves planning and managing initial phase of international relocations for active duty military members and their families. A candidate for this position must already have prior experience performing move coordination with a US Military Personal Property Transportation Service Provider (TSP). They must understand the expectations of both the military family and the government contracting authority, in order to set and meet reasonable expectations between all parties including customers and subcontractors like local moving companies and specialty moving service providers.

This position showcases candidates' ability to manage a workload, organize an efficient means to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and solve scheduling and interpersonal conflicts between customers and subcontractors. An excellent candidate will be experienced with compassionate customer services, and exhibit the most essential skills of customer service such as respect, empathy, patience, active listening, and effective communication of knowledge.

We’re looking for someone to show off their ability to constantly grow with a business by learning something new every day and putting that knowledge to work. Our company never stops improving our processes, and we’re looking for people who are excellent at taking the resources they are given and finding even better ways to put them to use.

This position is remote, full time Monday-Friday, during normal business hours in your time zone (exact hours to be determined). Candidate must have a professional work environment set up in their home with reliable high-speed broadband Internet access. Environment must facilitate uninterrupted work without household distractions, and a desktop that can physically accommodate a VOIP phone handset, tower PC, keyboard/mouse, and dual widescreen monitors. Equipment will be provided by Central Van Lines. Stipend for enhanced broadband Internet service plan may be considered. All other components of workspace are to be arranged by candidate.
